Bulgogi Kalbi Marinade

One of my favorite foods in all the world is Korean Kalbi, impossible to make without a good marinade for the meat.  The meat generally used for Kalbi is beef short ribs cut Korean style.  In my area that is impossible to get so I use rib eye steak cut thin (1/4").  If you live in an area with a Korean grocery then you should be able to get short ribs.  For Bulgogi I use leaner cuts of meat, usually just a roast cut at about an eighth of an inch, fairly thin.

Bulgogi/Kalbi/Beef Marinade
1 cup Sugar
2 cup Soy Sauce
1 can 7 up *not diet
Crushed/Diced Garlic... Use what you feel would be right
1 teaspoon ginger powder
2 cans Pineapple juice( you know those little cans)
Black Pepper - couple pinches
1 Kiwi Blended skin removed
1/4 of a white onion blended ( make sure its a white onion for the right flavor)
I marinade overnight. You don't need to cook this one but make sure you do it in a large container because that is a lot of stuff in one container.
